SANTA FLORENTINA AWARDS

Summer 2004 News

SANTA FLORENTINA WINES WIN LONDON HONORS

La Riojana’s exciting Santa Florentina (US) / INTI (UK) brand won two medals
at London’s prestigious and highly competitive 2004 International Wine Challenge.
The Pinot Grigio was awarded a Silver Medal, while the Malbec earned a Seal of Approval. The wine is marketed and sold under different brand names in the two
markets as a result of legal restraints in the UK regarding the Santa Florentina name.

This recognition comes as the La Riojana brand has charged ahead to become
the UK market’s top Argentine value brand. The British success comes as no surprise. Our first taste convinced us of the tremendous quality and value Santa Florentina delivers, as we’re sure it will convince you.

Retailers and consumers alike share this satisfaction. One taste almost always wins
a fan. Santa Florentina comes in six grape varieties: three whites—Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Torrontes, and three reds—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec. All are flavorful, wonderfully drinkable wines, and sharply priced
in both 750ml and 1.5L sizes.

CLOSER TO HOME, A ‘NYAC’ SELECTION…

We’re proud to announce the selection by the exclusive New York Athletic Club—after competitive tasting—of Santa Florentina Torrontes to be poured for members during a seasonal Argentine promotion. Chosen for its bright, delicious taste, Santa Florentina Torrontes has the added distinction of being the least expensive among all wines chosen, some of which retail for four or five times its price!

The Torrontes grape, originally from northwest Spain, yields a crisp, flavorful, lightly fruity white wine. Brighter than most Chardonnays, and with more body than most Pinot Grigios, Torrontes is an exceptionally satisfying and refreshing white.
