The production team is comprised of Piergiorgio Castellani Jr., winemaker Sabino Russo, respected veteran Tuscan viticulturist Federico Comassi and top consulting enologist Franco Bernabei. Together, utilizing Castellani’s unmatched resources, and their large, modern Fattoria di Travalda production facility near historic Pisa, they craft the tremendous value these wines represent.

Textbook Chianti with vibrant, classic Sangiovese aromas and flavors of dry, tart cherries. Intriguing anise, smoke and leather accents add to the appeal of this deeply-flavored but not heavy wine. Fine, even tannins on the long finish make this a superb dinner choice for any classic Italian dish, yet it’s light enough to drink on its own or with appetizers.
