Neirano is devoted to delivering the flavors of Italy’s Piedmont in wines that accurately and beautifully express this distinctive region’s the grapes and terroirs. Neirano’s owners, the Sperano family, produce a wide range of Piedmontese wines: deep, flavorful reds from Barolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto; sparklers Asti Spumante and Brachetto D’Acqui; tasty whites include Gavi and Arneis.
An 18th century mansion houses Neirano’s estate headquarters in the Piedmont Alto Monferrato village of Casalotto di Mombaruzzo and is complimented by their modern Milan business offices. Vineyards and casa are located in historic Asti, where documents from the 11th century attesting to the quality of their wines.
Paolo and Antonio Sperone, in the tradition of their late father, Giacomo Sperone, dedicate themselves to producing affordable wines of excellent quality. The Sperone family commitment to the character of Piedmont and the acccurate expression of its fruit is evident throughout the complete Neirano range.

Barolo: great depth of Nebbiolo flavor, rich texture, full tannins, and a long life ahead of it—a superb value
Le Croci Barbera D’Asti: limited production, barrique-aged Barbera Superiore from 25 year old vines; impressive fruit, mouth feel and structure
Tindaro: a Super-Piedmontese 50-50% Cabernet Sauvignon-Barbera blend aged 12 months in barrique; named for a Greek mythological king; powerful
Barbera D’Asti: fruit-driven, yet firm, even and dry; a deep, tasty value red
Dolcetto D’Alba: a smooth, dry medium-weight red; lovely tart-sweet flavors
WHITES:
Gavi: a fragrant, elegant dry white of the noble Cortese grape; superb value
Arneis: even and round, with a faint hint of sweetness over almond & herb flavors
SPARKLING:
Asti Spumante: Italy’s favorite sparkler—bubbly, lively, and lightly sweet
